Blacking out interior

Its been too long since I did anything to her, I think I'm making up for lost time. Next weekend I'm blacking out 100% of the interior. Dashboard, seats, doors, panels, headliner, carpet, its all going down. I am using tv's thread over on YotaTech as a guide, but where he took several months completing all this I'm going to shoot for one day, probably Saturday, wake up early get everything disassembled and stripped. Spend the day coating and hopefully have it in by the day's end. Thead link is below but if anyone has any comments or suggestions feel free to throw them in. I started with the center console and inner front trim pieces today but doesn't look to much different than when I plastidipped it. Its on arty:

Wow, I'm impressed with that labour intensive interior renovation done on that red truck, and I'm all for the black look..Diggin' it! .I'm sure it'll look real nice with your black truck too..shooting to have all that done in a day seems like a long shot, though.

Would be interesting to see it done. If you have the money, i'd recommend getting black replacment carpet instead of dying. I've found this place that has direct replaments for a resonable price.

Only thing preventing me from doing this is the fact that he said it's a ***** to maintain, and I'd rather not deal with that much.

when i was into upolstry this lady did her sons car and she used a red tweed material for the dash. it looked pretty good! its nothing the lame dash mats the dash is completly covered in this stuff (skin tight). its a modern looking material that is more than durable too but i just thought id throw that out there.
this is the only pic i could find on google. this guy used capet material...

Thanks! Yeah I don't think I'll need to sell. To be honest it was these couple months I just didn't know if she would hold up to the strain I've been putting on it for work. Just had to maintain finances and didn't think keeping it would pan out. But holiday bonus checks are around the corner so I'm looking into another 4runner actually! Been doing research with the insurance trying to keep both of them on so this guy can be just a weekend warrior.

The project is going to be postponed seeing that I opted to nail some accounts Friday and Saturday for work. Hopefully this NC weather stays on the milder side, if I can manage it I will get it all done next week. I may do it in chunks but they will be big chunks. My first order of business is the headliner and everything that has to come out in order for the headliner to will be dealt with at that time as well.

In regards to what James said I did my center console this week, it was still completely drying a day or so later but now the stuff looks and holds up great, honestly just looks like I retrofitted an OEM black console into a tan interior haha. It does pick up scratches a little bit but my interior isn't in pristine condition so it'll be a nice change. Brian, I'm out of that hot GA sun and in Charlotte now so no worries!

The only problem i see with this, is that if you scratch through the new paint your going to to see the original color. The post on yota tech he says he thought he would have to keep applying the paint because it would wear off or be scratched. It looks awsome but keep that in mind when you think about the long term effect on your ride. I absolutely hated the interior color of my prev. runner, the ugly grey that eventually looks steel blue.

Not trying to be a downer but thats my opinion, maybe you you apply plenty of coats and some sort of protective coating you can prevent this from happening.
