Yes .. both sides are wide angle. Passenger side when in fast lane, I can see 3 lanes over.
So when you hold up your Oem vs Suma, you can’t tell the difference?

Not at all. Here is comparison. OEM on top.
Also, I spent last hour trying to get the flasher on driver side to work with no luck. Will have to buy a meter to test that now. 5 months to get these (actually not even the blue ones) and only get driver wide angle and the passenger side flasher.

Stock passenger side mirrors are already wide angled mirrors, so you won’t notice a difference with them. I put mine in last night, and you’ll definitely notice a difference with the driver’s side.
To get the flashers to work, I connected the pink wire to the mirror wire with the white stripe, and white wire to the black mirror wire. I had to clamp them pretty hard to connect.

it seems like some people have posted the reverse for these wire connections (i.e., pink stock wire to black summa mirror wire and white stock wire to black/white suma mirror wire). Does this matter? Is this a polarity issue? Can it be reversed or "flipped" once the clamps have been pushed down all the way?

If the turn signals don't flash, check the polarity of the wires are connected correctly. Otherwise, they don't flash. Also check the wires are spliced firmly.
OEM side mirrors are already convex, so you might not see a big difference off the bat.

This sucks. It really does. 4.5 months of waiting. I get swapped out for a $20 credit to get the non-blue and NOT anti glare mirrors. Still thought BOTH mirrors would provide advantage. Another month later.....All I got was one mirror upgrade for $130 something bucks. So much for my Christmas Eve 2019 gift to myself. Hell, I was even the guy that told Suma to correct their incorrect original post. Thanks!

Your right. I just checked my passenger glass and compared to Oem glass. The passenger glass was wide angle already. That’s why the Oem passenger glass says “objects are closer then they appear” and the drivers side didn’t.

For me no. My new passenger glass still got the turn signals and blue anti-glare.
The mirrors are 100x better then stock
. I don’t like the small wide angle box on the rav4.

Agreed. the built in turn signal and blue anti-glare are far better than stock. Also the Rav4 blind spot mirrors are pretty much useless

Yes passenger is same In terms of wide angle. But it also has the blinking lights option.
But if your just buying these just for the wide angle only, they should of an option to buy just the drivers side wide angle.

So I completed my install last night. Big shout out to [MENTION=1863]daytonaviolet[/MENTION], [MENTION=420898]Akmambarunner[/MENTION] and obviously [MENTION=465961]Suma Performance[/MENTION] for the help. As some have mentioned, my mirror turn signal LEDs both did NOT flash after first clamping my splicers on both driver and passenger sides. All I had to do was reverse the mirror wire connections (not the splicings) to make it all work.
It is a tight space to work. The clamps are definitely pretty large for the job as others have said, and there isn't a lot of slack/wire length to work with from the OEM turn signal wires (pink/white). My advice would be to consider using smaller clamps and make sure to place them in good areas...once you push that blade down there isn't much movement possible. The mirror needs to be able to articulate and you don't want things to get pinched or be too tight.
I also noticed that the stock driver's side mirror has 2 gold/metal prongs and the Suma does not. I could not figure out how to transfer these from stock to Suma so I ignored :shrug: Everything seemed to button up/work and hasn't fallen apart yet after 30 miles of highway driving.
A little disappointed that I couldn't get the blue tinted mirrors, but am definitely appreciating the LED turn signals and the wider FOV on the driver side.

I dunno, my passenger side mirror appears to be far more convex than my stock or Rav4 mirror, I can see several lanes over further than I used to be able to

Sure does. I hadn't driven my truck in almost a month and I forgot they were there lol. I went to pull out of the neighborhood and was surprised by the flashing orange arrow on the mirror haha

That’s the main reason we all got the Suma. Why wouldn’t we want to get led blinkers in the glass. Convex is a 2nd feature
