Bluetooth BT Automatically Playing

I've searched the forum and found a host of other problems, but I haven't run into the issue I am having specifically. I also did spend hours digging through threads. So sorry if this is a duplicate. I love my Pro, but the BT is driving me crazy. Every time I turn up the volume on my BT audio, or turn on the BT audio the music automatically starts playing. I use the GPS on my iPhone 6, but I am constantly dealing with trying to pause the music that automatically plays. This was one of the first major annoyances when I drove my Pro back home from the dealership. I just couldn't figure out how to keep the music from automatically playing. I even got to the point that I removed ALL MUSIC from my phone to see if it would fix it. Nope, that didn't work.

My current solution is to keep BT audio off, or I have AUX selected. When I need GPS BT from my phone I will change to BT Audio and pause the music. Then if I increase the volume I pause the music. If I turn the truck off and on for any reason I then pause the music.

Any one else have this problem or have a solution?

I do not want to use the GPS that came with the Pro. It sucks almost as bad as the one I had in my other Toyota in 2008.

Sorry man, this is a problem pretty much with all phones,

just search "disable Bluetooth autoplay"

Thanks man. I looked all over the web and saw a lot of people had the problem. I couldn't find a solution that worked which was another reason I posted here.

My daughter messed with some settings and caused this to happen too. I don't remember what I did to change it back. But it's definitely there somewhere.

Are you saying it's in the etune settings in the 4r?
