Bluetooth Interference with Aftermarket Backup Camera

I have ordered a wireless backup camera for hitching the trailer to my 2010 SR5. There is info out there that the Bluetooth link of the T4R may interfere with the camera's signal. Apparently some vehicles can have their Bluetooth capability temporarily disabled. Any knowledge that this is possible with this model?

What frequency is your camera on? Is it 2.4 GHz?

Yes, 2.4 Ghz. The camera manufacturer says some more recent Bluetooth devices have the ability to detect interference and switch to another frequency or code. Don't know if 2010 T4Rs would be able to do this.

Maybe, just maybe, your backup camera has an analog signal (@2.4Ghz). I believe that digital cameras get 'paired' to each other and this prevents most interference. Digital cams and displays cost a lot more.
