Body mount cut done!

Well since I just ordered my wheels and tires, I figured I better do the body mount cut.
I wanted to gain clearance yet try and keep it so it wouldn't be really noticeable, unless you really looked.

Here's what I did.

Cut the bottom so I could push it back:

Made a relief cut on top:

Here's how it looked when I was done.

Gained approximately additional 1/2" clearance.

Not sure if I really needed to cut it back? But I figured better to be safe.

I ordered 17x9" wheels with 4.5 BS, 285/70R17. I'm installing Bilstein all around front set at 2.5" and rear daystar 1.5" spacers. I'm also hoping that I won't need UCA's.
(But that is still up in the air.)
Wheels won't be here until mid March.:nono:

I don't think you will need UCA's... I just did the same setup and all of my alignment numbers came into check. Caster was even at 3.2 and 3.0! You should be good! Pics after the lift!
