Brake Bleeding - Small Issue

Well I was attempting to bleed my brakes on Saturday but I encountered a small problem.

I could not get the bleeder screw to break loose, tried a wrench wouldn't budge and then a socket for a bit and it was starting to round off. SO, any thoughts to break loose this booger?

I was doing this with wheels on, so I could go about taking them off and getting a better angle, but I was hoping to not have to.

Suggestions?

On stubborn bolts/nuts only use a 6-point socket, never the 12-point ones. Stay away from Open-end wrenches as these can flex, but the other end (the box side is good if its got six sides) Careful not to snap it off. Soak them for a day or two with penetrating oil.

Penetrating would be a good bet. Personally I like to use Liquid Wrench. It seems to work really quickly.

Also, If you have drum brakes on the back you may want to make sure they're adjusted snug. If they're too loose it will make your brakes feel spongy.

tried a little bit of liquid wrench at the time and it wasn't moving but i'll keep at it.

i also was using a 12 point socket i believe.

so i'll try these and then if all else fails take the dang wheels off

I would recommend taking the wheels off. It would not be worth it to strip that bolt, you will have bigger problems than taking off the wheel.

Use Liquid Wrench then wait 24 hours then re-apply. Wait 1/2 hour then re-apply and use a flare wrench.
