brake pad selection

ok so im either going to get my pads from napa or checkers(orileys)
and im not sure which pads i should go with? anyone have any suggestions or opinions? ceramic, metallic??????

I've been told to pass on the ceramics if you have the original rotors. My mechanic said that the older rotors can't hold to them. True? I dunno, but I listen to the guy anyways. As for brand, they are probably about the same. Personal preference is Napa.

I agree. Get a quality pad (not just the cheapest one).

Yeah, I don't know enough about the slight differences to know if NAPA has a scheme going on, but I get the NAPA Gold for most things like that.

Ok thanks guys...they got so many different brands and what not...guess ill go with the golds
