Flex Shots!

I did a little light wheeling today and the 35s are great! The only rub on 2 spots which I can't do anything about anyways - the frame in the front (only when my steering is pegged), and the rear D/S tire rubs the plastic thing that covers the gas fill tube. But absolutely no rubbing anywhere else even at full flex! A few action shots with the new 35s...

The front at full stuff after trimming..

I haven't seen anyone stuff a 35 this far up in the rear fenders with only a 1" body lift, but here's proof you can still get flex with 35s (with the correct backspacing and wheel width)..

And a close up of the little bit of trimming I had to do on the rear fenders. Note, this is all I did to clearance the rear besides adding a 1.5" bump stop spacer..

keep and eye on that plastic piece over the fuel filler lines. Mine eventually ripped off

The tire already started to fold the piece over and it was yanking on it. I don't think it'll last long. Hey I forget, you only have a 1" BL too huh? Yours flexes good too!

I get all emotional when I see such beautiful beefed up 4Runners. Lol Yours def sets a high standard. Very nice!

That's good to hear! I'm getting to test them out in the snow today (1st snow of the season here)!

Snow! Arg. I'm going to be in the middle of the desert about 40 miles from you filming tonight. I DON'T want anything but no wind and warm weather, oh yeah and dry.

Lol, you might be SOL tonight then! What are you filming in the desert?

First snow!!

We got our 1st snow of the season today!! I think it might be time to start growing a beard (we'll see how the GF likes that!). I only got to test the tires in about 1", but they seem like they do pretty well in slippery stuff..
