Thanks Brian. Little more expensive than I was hoping for but probably worth it. I'll get one eventually
Hey Brian,
Did the heim bolt shortening (rear control arm) help with gas skid/driveshaft clearance?
I know you just got a gas tank skid but have you considered swapping to an F150 tank? They fit up in the frame rails if you take out the spare tire crap, and since you have the CBI I'm guessing you don't have a spare under there:
My plan is to use the stock spare location to mount my compressor and an air tank.
Ditto on that. Glen yoshida has his tank there, its a great spot to mount it.
what about just running the f-150 tank with a scan gauge and calling it good?

Or I could spend $0 and just cut a little out of the Lil' Skip's gas skid and be fine and still get my badass flex.
You are going to have to take some pictures, and PM or email them to me. I'm curious what you are going to do.
Yeah, I'll get some pics for ya. Not really sure what I'm going to do to it at this point either, but I'll figure out something.
I don't think I'll have to mess with the actual tank at all since I've had these links (with the stock gas skid) for a couple of weeks now and the tank doesn't have any rub marks on it. I think Jason's is ok too.

... or you could settle for an inch or so less flex in the rear and the problem would go away...
How is that gas tank skid working out? I've been seesawing on that skip's skid...
