I did the same thing some others here have done. I put a couple of 55w halogen flood lights on the back. One on either side of the hitch (this wouldn't be ideal for off road use). I wired them to come on with the backup lights. I also put an AOB switch up front so I could use them for camping etc. I got them on clearance 90% off for a buck or two each and used one of the relays I had grabbed from the junkyard.
FYI Many 90s GM cars had weatherproof relays mounted on the firewall, some on a bracket that holds about 5. I get these for free or almost free at the junkyard.
