Very nice work man! I think I'm motivated to add those switch blanks there. Not that I'll need them ever but it seems like a good wintertime project to keep me busy.

The dual is a bit away, still waiting on the hold down from slee. I'll have to modify it but its going be straightforward I think.

Your going to love them. Its the best upgrade I've done to my truck. I had a local shop weld them on here in southern ca. You should have a template that came with the kit. To be honest the bracket that needs to be welded on isn't perfect. Make sure who ever weld it on take the front shock out to cycle the suspension. That will make it easier to find the perfect spot. The donahoe racing version were dicountinued a long time ago. I thought I had bought the last pair on earth.. Nice find.

Welded some adjustable endlinks today.

Are those aluminum or steel heims? Either way, if they don't have Teflon or Nylon raced I'd add some heim boots before they start squeaking. The ball will start to rust and pit after a few months. The first set I ever made looked very similar to those, and they didn't last long.

Ya, they are Teflon coated corrosion resistant hiems. As good as they can be for a reasonable price. I went with corrosian resistant high stengt hiems.

Good heims that size don't run more than $15. I use chromoly heims with Teflon races and they're under $20 each.

On a side note. Is the a Swag portaband table in the picture? If so, how do you like it?

I bought all the parts some time ago. I don't recall the price, <20 seems reasonable. I traded existing solutions vs making my own.

That is a portaband with swag table. I like it for my purposes. Small footprint and reasonable price. Fence and whatnot is what I should have bought or will buy. Swapping it in and out of the table is the gripe. It needs a longer knob bolt.

Objective: 'Unlimited' - Remove limited silver cladding, put on 02 sport flares, paint rear bumper, paint front bumper and valance


Process:

• Remove silver cladding
• Replace 2 front doors of same color, sport or sr5
• Replace 2 rear doors of same color from sport model
• Swap mirrors, windows, door cards, speakers
• Swap wiring harnesses in doors
• Replace front fender flares from sport
• Replace flare mount brackets, different for sports vs limiteds
• New fender trim strips and clips
• Weld up rockers
• Obtain 98' Canadian badlands edition primered front bumper, and the front bumper flares
• Paint rockers, bumper, and flares, touch up doors as required

Sport rear door swapped and passenger front replaced

Flare removed, fender brackets shown, the rear doors needs to be replaced with the sport flare style door due to the cladding

Its a huge improvement over the 2 tone cladding. Looking forward to getting it all back together this weekend and being able to drive it again.

You hadn't posted really any good pictures of the headlights but they look really good. Your whole truck looks really good. I wasn't a fan of the older style bumper which is why I got rid of mine but your's looks great color matched with the sport hood and sport flares. And the satoshi grille only looks good with the older bumpers. I love the look of stock looking 4Runners.

Thanks for the look. Completely agree, on the differences in grills. The flatter earlier grill looks a bit off with the later bumpers.

As to the lights, I never seemed to get the right light to get a decent pic. I like them a lot and now with the whole thing painted, I like them more.

pastidiped the emblems, last of the chrome is gone. I would not do this again, faster and easier I think to remove them and paint them proper.

Did you ever post a pic of those rear bumper lights? I can't remember seeing such.
