BT cutting out

2010 SR5, stock stereo: having bluetooth issues: BT switches back to FM after 3-5 seconds. Even trying to reset using the voice commands, the system switches from voice back to FM in 3-5 sec.

Any ideas?

Have you tried deleting the BT device? Then reprogram it again.

was trying that when the voice system cut out so I did not get into the menu to delete the BT device out of the BT. My next step will be to disconnect the battery and do a system reboot.

What 'Keemonrunnin' suggests would be my first approach. Removing the BT device from entune's file network and then 'pairing' them again, will enable you to have the (potentially corrupted) file replaced. The next coarse of action probably should be a "software update"; you may still be using an old version which makes the entune more vulnerable to frequent mis-reads and hick-ups.

The first version is "1.7.4". The newer ver. is "3.2.". I was having a similar problem w/ "call prompts" e.g., "The phone number you've requested does not exist" or, "There are no phones set up in the network". etc... A short visit to your dealership will resolve those issues. Good luck! Regards

I noticed the other day that removing power from the battery causes the radio to reset and go back to FM.

Does it switch back to FM from any other input like CD? or look like maybe the radio is resetting by itself? May be a bad connector/wire/fuse...
