BudBuilt - Anyone have any success contacting them?

Update: Bud has been very sick and barely has a voice. I was able to talk to him to place an order which I am more then stoked about. Besides that, we talked about setting up a GB for T4R which he is very interested in. We are going to be exchanging emails to figure out the details of the GB but hopefully we can get this setup soon. I will report back with details and possibly create a new thread.

BTW- Budbuilt is releasing a front bumper, rear bumper and a cargo compartment for underneath the truck.
 
GB for what?

Did he give you details on the cargo compartment? I was actually under mine measuring for one last week but may now hold off a bit. And......any word on the battery tray?

He didn't give me any specs on anything. I am waiting for an email back with all the details. He did mention he is making a battery tray. Bud's actually buying a 5th gen for himself so he's going to be making a ton of products for our platform. STOKED!
 
OK, since you are talking to him I won't bother him but do keep us updated, if you know what's good for you :thanks:

I hope that happens, unlike what happened a month ago.

I'm about to pull the trigger on a set of full skids.
 
He was also working on some sort of bar or something to protect the radiator so let's add this to the list of future products.
 
I will report back with full GB details once it happens. The GB *might* not be for a few weeks though since Bud is thinking about starting the GB once he announces the full 5th gen product line. We'll see.
 
My 1/2 treaded, bump outs arrived yesterday! I installed them today! Fit and quality are very good. Pictures over on the show us your 5th gen thread.

I asked Bud about the group buy. Its not happening. Only if he can ship quite a few things to the same location. That is what Bud said to me. So if a few people are in the same area, have one person order and pay. Then it may happen for you.
 
^Bud has yet to respond to my email but it's probably not going to happen. He doesn't sounds enthused about a GB. I will keep trying though.

Good news is my bump out's with full tread arrive this Friday. :)
 
I was thinking of calling him up about the Aux Battery Trays....I don't want to bug him but I also just ran all the wiring for my dual battery setup and I just have one thing missing!

You should! I've sent him two emails with a hint that there are at least two other people who would buy from him right now in the same area if he made it available.
 
I ended up with the bump out sliders with partial tread plate powder coated black. Everyone said save the money and paint them, but they were bought for me. Even if I have to re-powder them every couple years I come out ahead. Plus living in the desert, rust is not of my concern. A few nicks in the powder coat shows character :p
