BudBuilt Battery Tray...

lols, I've failed you guys, sorry!

It's been a real hectic week at work and I've not had the time to unload the pictures off my camera till today. Will post up the install thread shortly!
Okki it raises the base of the tray a little taller (~1"?) this is because the tray sits over the A/C line isolator instead of bending it completely out of the way. Still plenty of hood clearance though, I got my Group 35 to clear the hood with plenty of room. IIRC, group 35 is ~1" taller than the group 34 most of the guys are sticking in their aux position :)

Kewl.. so that's specific to the aux-location. I guess I may need to give him a jingle about his thoughts for the OEM location...

Okki

Yes it mounts to the same area where the aussie tray mounts. The OEM location should be pretty simple to make yourself...there's not much in the way, just gotta bolt on a universal flat tray maybe? Is something like this wide enough for your Group 31? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-g1201

I've actually never really looked around there, but couldn't you just trim off the OEM plastic tray's edge and just drop the wider group 31 in there and call it good? :)

Did I miss something about these? Saw back in the thread that they were going to be available 2/23, I know I'm like a month late lol, but I just received my tax return and I think I might do a dual battery.

Yes definitely, look exactly one post above you, lol.

I think he's put them up for sale already, you might have to call though? ~140 shipped :)

Can anyone confirm that this tray would fit a 2010+ FJ Cruiser? The FJ and 4Runner are virtually the same in the engine compartment and we also have the same AUX battery space.

Shrockworks also makes a battery tray and it fits both the 4R and FJC. I think the FJ requires a windshield washer reservoir relocation kit or something though.

Yep I've seen that one. Not sure it fits a Sears Die Hard Platinum group 34 though.
