Buffing with a dremel

Could I use a dremel tool with buffing attachment to buff out a small series of scratches on the door of my 4Runner without damage?

It spins WAAAAAY too fast. You'd burn right through the clear coat without even trying. Trust me

Um hell no don't even try it. Better off getting some scratch-ex and trying to do it by hand.
