The DRL is in the high beam, I believe he's running HID in the low projector only like myself.
Therefore it does not affect the DRL at all.

Not sure Jose is coming here regularly these days, you can find a link to his 80 build in his signature. It takes you to his thread on Mud. I don't recall offhand what wheels they are. Pretty sure they are 16s though.

I think you hit it on it head, pretty sure he got them from Americas Tire. I'm also over on MUD under AMMO. My 80 is on 37's soon to be 39's and on a diet
Since my Trail isn't much to look at yet... Here's my contribution to this 80 Hijack

You mean that stupid DIY roof rack that blew up on Imgur and Reddit? Who would have thought! Haven't logged on in here in several months since all my efforts (and money) have been directed to the Land Cruiser. My wife did get a nice 2ft crack in the windshield of the 4runner though :redbrick: I'll have to pony up and pay the deductible to get that fixed. She said a rock flew up from another car and it expanded like crazy overnight. Anybody replace a windshield on these yet? Anything to be aware of or lookout for?
I might as well hijack T4R with my Land Cruiser since I already started going down that path. Let's see...I built some drawer slides for my heavy ass Pelican ice chest. And welded up a 4x4Labs water can rack:
My favorite mod, 37" tires!!!!!!!! 37x13.50/17 Nitto Mud Grapplers. Love these tires. Sounds like I'm being followed by a Cessna. I've been told it will sound like a B52 bomber after about 10k miles.
The day they were installed
I had some rubbing of course. I refuse to lift the truck any higher so that means it was time to start cutting and grinding.
Notched the inner fender and pushed it up to give more clearance
Took 3" out of the outer fender. Instant lift! Next up will be reattaching the inner and outer fender then giving it a finished look. I will also trim the rear fenders.
I also built a roof rack. Spent about $150 in metal. Not too bad! Full details can be seen here: My 4x4 needed a roof rack so I built one! - Imgur

Hi,
Ok I got my flame suite on but I got few different sources and after looking at it for 30 min I figured ill just ask someone who did it already.
I got a question with regards to the installation of the HIDs that you did. So I bought the same kit and everything.
1. Where did you mount the relays?
2. You mounted one ballast on the battery bracket, where did you mount the other one?
3. You made the "custom" connection between the stock wiring harness for the projectors and the male connector that came pre-installed in that rubber ring which mounts into the grey cover of the headlight (I assume this was done for both sides).
Where does the female (yellow) connector at the other end of that little jumper plugs into to for both sides?
Also what does the input "power/signal" to the relays plug into to?
Please see photo attached with questions. Thank you.

So THIS is where your build thread is. I knew I'd find it somewhere. Don't know if you remember from Mud (same name, spencertron) but I was a big fan of your 80. I was thinking about switching to a 5th gen and started asking you questions when I saw your pictures of bimrunner's rig and then saw you yourself got one. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and let you know I made the switch

Try PM. He doesn't really come on this forum much. The runner is his wife's dd. he wheels his 80 and spends his forum time on Mud.
