Bushwacker made fenders for the 5th gen!!

So looking at these on Bushwacker's site, it says they are not compatible with aftermarket bumpers. Yet, the guys at Expedition Overland fit prototype versions to their 4Runners with an aftermarket bumper. So either Bushwacker made those flares specifically to work with the aftermarket rear bumper, or they just trimmed them to fit back there. Anyone know for sure?

They need to be cut for aftermarket front and rear bumpers.

Since not all bumpers are the same, they'll have to be cut.

EO 4 runners did not have aftermarket bumpers, they had winch mounts, mounted in the middle.


All you have to do to fit BW's to aftermarket bumper is trim them.

Like I said, I was talking about the rear bumper, not the front.

It applies to both. Tape the path it needs to be cut, cut, sand, put edging on it, done.

I'll have to do that to both my front and rear fenders due to my CBI bumper and upcoming Pelfrey front end and snorkel.

Just got off the phone with Bushwacker who said they are available, the distributers just have to ad them to the system. Lawdart had mentioned this earlier as well, so I then contacted summit racing who should have them added hopefully in a hour (he said he thought he could get it done, if not tomorrow afternoon they would be there). He is calling me back with pricing so if I hear back from him I'll post up the details

So I just called Summit back and the part number 30921-02 is now available, if you call them and ask for that part they will have Bushwacker drop ship them to you, $496 (I think that's what he said). They won't ship till the last week in December though. I'm not sure if the number works online yet but it is in the system.

I'm betting it is going to look nice. I have a fake bead lock on my rims and I'm thinking the exposed bolt look on the Bush wackers may be a little too busy on my 4runner.

I was really hoping for a version that didn't have the cutouts with the SS bolts or at least an option for black hardware. I am also a little surprised on the costs, seems steep to me.
