Disclaimer: I'm not a scientist. I tinted mine limo dark. I'm a Ginger. Me and sun don't get along well. Now I open the sunroof shade and use it more often. [emoji48]
I bet her Pro is Inferno:laugh:A girl and a ginger? Tread lightly boys.
To the discussion at hand. If tint is added doesn't that mean less heat getting in as well?
There is a ton of speculation and legend that adding tint to the sunroof glass will cause it to crack, because heat can't escape.
However, most modern sun roof glass is already tinted relatively dark from the factory.
Discuss dammit, before I poke you with a stick
Hahaha... wait, was that sarcasm?I bet her Pro is Inferno[emoji23]
I have heard the same thing, yet I cannot come up with any logical reasoning to why.
I could explain it but nobody would care. Just know you have a much bigger chance of no shatter and a small but real chance of shatter by tinting your sunroof.
