Can't decide. Bilstein 5100s w/ Eibach Pro lift springs or 6112s

Hey all,

Currently running Tundra 5100s and tundra coils (Not TRD) up front in my 4Runner. One is leaking as they're quite old and time to upgrade. Will be starting from scratch this time with all new. She currently has a full 3 inches if not abit more, and looking to keep it up there to clear my 35s.

Question is I can't decide between the normal 4Runner 5100s with the Eibach coils that Essex Distributors sells as well, or just go for the full 6112 kit. I do a fair bit of overlanding, not so much super aggressive offroading anymore but looking for a better ride than my current setup which I think is way too firm. Have a winch bumper upfront but the weight will be close to stock in afew months once the v6 is swapped out for something smaller :eyebrows:

Can anyone relate? Maybe someone whos tried both? Or better recommendations to pair with the 5100s for coils?

I like the 5100s and they seem to pair well with the stock springs, with the OME medium duty rear springs it seemed like the spring was overpowering the shock....not a lot but some. Had a little more bounce that i like but that's just me.

I would go with the 6112s personally, they're tuned together and adjustable. That way if you ever add any more weight or take any away, you'll be able to dial in your amount of lift again. Better yet, how about the King coilovers? Yes they're pricey but you'll never have to think about upgrading again:biggrin2:
