Can't find the controller harness....

I did a search but couldn't find any info. Owners manual diagram leaves a lot to be desired. Installing a P2 Prodigy brake controller and can't find the harness connection. Is it behind the kick panel? And if so, how do I remove the panel? Don't want to snap off anything! Thanks in advance.

Near the interior fuse box there should be a connector where you can plug in the factory supplied adapter that you will wire your P2 connector to. The factory adapter comes with a wiring call-out.

The location is show on page 289 in a 2010 owners manual. Part if the "Driving Information"/"Towing" section

Mine was well hidden BEHIND the large bundle of wires, just left of the ER brake pedal. If you look up under the dash to the left, you will see a fuse box and two large bundles of wires which then combine with a 3rd wire bundle which generally runs up and down. The connector you are looking for is "taped" behind that large up and down wire bundle. Electrical tape holds it there.

I had to take mine to a dealer for him to find it for me. He took the kick plate off to give him more room, but once he reached behind that bundle, it was obvious he did not have to remove the plate. The tech said in the past, the harness was in plain sight on all rigs that had it. Now, for some reason, they (factory) seems to hide it! Good luck and be safe.

Thanks.........doesn't help that I've hard wired my V1 and remote into that fuse box either (more spaghetti). They definitely hid mine well!
