In L.A. it is pretty easy to get under invoice $500-800 right now — if you ask directly. Get the black trail from Manhattan Beach, make it a little vaca and drive up PCH a bit to take some pics.

So funny...I just got my TE with Nav and KDSS. I was told by my dealer that Toyota didn't configure the TE w/o Nav but with KDSS for the East Coast!! I had to wait 3 months to get mine. I didn't want the Nav but I had no choice. But now that I have it, I like the way it looks with the Nav. Oh well!!

I actually argued that if I have to custom order my 4Runner, why then can't I get it w/o Nav but with KDSS. It's being built for me anyways so just tell the factory to leave out the Nav. But Toyota has their own agenda.

At the end of the day $500 over, invoice, 500 under.........negotiate as best you can and enjoy it. I live in AZ as well, and only one dealership had a Shoreline Blue with Nav within 800 miles (fairly rare). I got 2500 off sticker with $55 doc fees and I am happy. Fly into SF tomorrow and am driving it home

Local dealers in Phoenix are such a PIA as well, gave me this coulda would shoulda on how I got screwed by $500 on my deal. Simple fact.......they can't get one with Nav readily. And none of them can explain their so called "invoice pricing" but charge a $385 doc fee :sniper:

She sold me my 03 4Runner and got more for my trade-in than originally quoted. She specalizes in ordering(per Toyota factory specs) what you want and as a consequence out of state sales..

Dianne is the one that delivered my 4Runner back in April. She drove about an hour and a half to bring it to me. Both her and I sat at the table in the dinning room filling out the paperwork. She is really nice.

Ended up just getting at TE without Nav. I'll add it later. I did try to work out a deal with Dianne, but it just didn't make fiscal sense to me since I was working a trade into the deal.

BTW, I love my TE :trophy:
