this isnt the black/grey that yall see from burtman industries, I asked Jason B if he he could do the silver/silver and he said yeah. saw it on an s2000 and was like hell yeah lets do it

actually when it came it was pretty flexible.. Jason told me to heat it up by putting it on dash.. with our weather like it is would have tooken like 1 minute to do. its like 100 degrees here with 40 to 50% humidity.

I still have some pieces to put on like my vents. front and rear window switch panels and whatever else came.. rear console vents dont fit because I dont have a thermastat back there but no big deal.. I wouldnt put it there anyways.

I will get more pics soon as I go out tomorrow. (going to mountians)

so is that flat kit and not a molded one? and also if i were to get a flat kit would it not connect or run up to another piece, like in your picture where you have the piece around the shifter and the piece around the radio/ashtray and those 2 pieces leave a gap there, is that how any flat kit would be or would a molded kit cover that?

molded kit would but i dont think any are made in carbon fiber if at all for wood or fiber

This is no molded kit made, only molded piece was the factory center piece from Limited models, and this was factory only...

Well, you have a 96-98 so the kit is a little different and the console is different and closer.

first i have to say, to each his own. but i think that look is hideous. It's like putting plastic spinner hubcaps on steel wheels.
i'd stick with the black plastic or go rummage through a salvage yard for some faux wood genuine toyota trim. just wait til the summer sun starts to soften the adhesive.
