first i have to say, to each his own. but i think that look is hideous. It's like putting plastic spinner hubcaps on steel wheels.
i'd stick with the black plastic or go rummage through a salvage yard for some faux wood genuine toyota trim. just wait til the summer sun starts to soften the adhesive.

thats when it was installed, if you havent checked the date of this tread.. i live in 110 humid weather. it looks better in person.

There is no molded kit, unless you buy LIMITED pieces from Toyota, and each one is over $150 each! I can get them for you, but they aren't cheap.

Honestly, when the full kit is installed, you will love it.

They do not make a molded kit for the 3rd gen 4Runner. The wooddashexxpoerts website is wrong. How do I know, I'm also a dealer for woodview and have seen just about every kit made I can't stand misleading sites like this that portray something you don't get. Also, you don't get the door rings in that kit, which in my opinion are the finishing touch.

There is no molded aftermarket kit for 96-02 4Runners (unles you buy oem limited pieces from Toyota). If you want that kit, shoot me an email and I'll do my best.

Here are some other pics of the Grey/Black carbon that can also be made for the 4Runner. This is the same material that the 4Runner kit would be made of, if you choose real carbon on the Burtman site.

I told you, there is no molded kit. (not trying to be rude, but I hate how when you talk on here, it can seem that way) The dealer that is selling their kit has it LISTED WRONG. : )

Actually, the pics I posted all go over-top f the factory trim, same as the 4Runner kits. These are just some pics that came out really good with the camera and show how good they look "in person".

thanks Mike but i wasnt sure if there was another type of woodgrain kit besides a flat one. Maybe it wasnt a "true" molded kit but there has to be something different that the flat kit for there to be a price difference like that and for it to include different pieces. Is that so hard to understand my skepticality on that?:awais: I believe jason that thats not the molded kit that it is percieved to be but like i said its just hard to believe that a website that big can be conning so many people into buying the exact same kit for more money with less pieces, thats all, but i appreciate you coming into this thread just to make that little comment, mike:

Yea, it's definitely wrong on that site. Problem is today, many sites are outdated and don't always update it to fix.

your straight, curiousities got me as well with his 4WD, i want to say he doesnt have it because he only has one shifter and no 4WD shifter but with the locker and all the other mods mayber theres something im missing?
