Castrol 5W30 Syn Blend for $1 @ Autozone

Just wanted to turn folks on to this deal -

Castrol/SynBlend engine oil SAE 5W-30 1 qt. 6358 at AutoZone.com

No idea why its only $1, but I order 24 quarts and the site gave me free shipping, so I only paid $25 and some change after tax.

UPDATE:

Looks like the ship to home is over, does not appear that you can add it to your cart anymore. However, I was able to order some more for pickup from my local store today. Picked it up with no issue, so if you have a store or stores close you may be able to pick some up...but you had better move fast.

Per Ed_C "Just got off the phone with local AutoZone,the guy I spoke to said they'll honor the price for whatever they have in stock. He said they have quite a bit in stock."

UPDATE #2

Looks like most folks are get cancellation emails for the stuff ordered online. I ordered 24 quarts shipped minutes before I posted the link and have not received a cancellation email yet, so hopefully some of these ordered will get filled. I also went to 2 stores locally and picked up another 32 quarts, hopefully some of you were able to grab some locally as well.

Hope they honor the price and ship it out, just ordered 150qts, should cover the family for at least 25k miles a piece.
 
I just ordered 12. Nice find; weird deal. I wonder if they just fired "the wrong guy"

Pretty funny! If I had a real house where I could store stuff, I'd have done the same thing.

I saw this on another board, earlier today. So I headed on down to a couple local AutoZone stores, to see what deals I might find. The result: 40 Quarts of Mobil 1, for $42.77.

Wouldn't let me add any more than 99 at a time, so no dice on the 25$ gift card, doesn't bother me though, 1$ a qt is a good enough deal.

I added 1 qt of the 10w40 for $1 to bring the order up to $100.
 
I had to go back and amend my order. 100 quarts of oil ordered for $1 each. Free shipping still, plus $25 gift card (probably for some new oil filters). Again...hell of a deal. I'll be set for a good while and can use the $25 gift card for some oil filters.

I'm pretty sure I'll be saying this is the best oil for the price for the next few oil changes lol.

So I just purchased 100qts and at the end of checkout it had my GIFTME line on the left column for 25 but on the right column it was a 25 in red and a line going through it........hmm

Oh well guess I can't complain about that, now where in the world am I going to store all this oil......:frusty: by the way without the free shipping the cost to ship was around 85 buckaroonies
