Thanks for the advice I will probably take a trip up there to test the limits of my stock 4runner after doing all the maintenance and removing running boards.

You had quite a few integras in your day!

Well enough of the side chat get back to your build!

Obviously this is elevation marker of some sort from the US ARMY of Engineers, but i can't find out what the markings mean, or what it is used for Looks like it says "END". somebody chime in on this please & educate me, i find it interesting. :nerd: There are no towers or power lines on this hill...

It vary well may be the exact center of California, it's a gps elevation marker you'd be surprised how many of them you don't see, I surveyed land with my pops since I was...I don't even know, too young to remember. I might have to call and confirm with him but I'm pretty dang sure it's just a gps marker most of them are on monuments stuff like that.

Check out this wild boars leg i found on the top of the hill, I found the rest of the carcass about 20 yards away, should have taken some pics of it. It was a trail of carnage, nothing left but lots of fur and bones, the spine was in pieces, i'm sure you guys get the picture though, I'm wondering what killed it? maybe some Coyote's? or a Mountain Lion? I've seen Bobcats out here before but I doubt they killed this big ass Boar! Bobcats are probably too small to take one down that size...

*Also spotted some Wild Turkey during my solo adventure out in Wonder Valley, pretty common sight around here.

*The club recently opened up to all 4X4 rigs, used to be only Toyota's.

I believe the final design is going to incorporate a Jeep & Suzuki. Really cool group of peeps, always reaching out beyond the trails. Much more than just a 4X4 club! More Family orientated than I originally thought...

Small Update:

I've been lagging on re-mounting my Fog lights since removing the valance, finally got some time last night. Not the brightest lights but i missed having them there, they really help on those pitch black roads in the foothills. Got these cheapies @ Walmart a while back, for like $30 bucks or something, i can't remember what brand they are, obviously nothing fancy. (what else do i buy with a $40 gift card from Wally World?)

So here it is...

tx4r3g Looking forward to seeing your light set-up! It's going to look bad-ass with bumpers all black, I like where you are going with it!

Just went through your build. Looks great!

Hepar I really appreciate the compliment! :thumb3: I have lots of plans for my 4R!

Not looking good...

Here's yet another example of the dredded UBJ & LBJ failure are trucks face.
