I'd like to second the request of night snots, and who makes them. They look good.

And here's a few night shots, keep in mind i'm using a cellphone camera so it doesn't do it justice, it was hard to get it to focus, however they are really bright, I recommend these, and Im pleased with the output... I'll try to get better pics later.

the first pic is just the LEDs by them self, and the 2nd shot was just headlights without the LEDs on, the 3rd shot is just the LEDs. these are 60 degree flood type lights, they also offer more of a direct beam light (30 degree)

Seems those lights work pretty good for such small units. I'll have to look into those lights to replace my piaas.

i have those same lights, they are just used for fogs, you can easily out drive the light, they are by no means driving of spot lights even tho the adds sometime say spot.

Yep i hear ya... these are only my fog light replacements, I got tired of my old halogen fogs, these are definitely better than my old ones. The next lights I get will be spot/beam probably more towards a 30* degree type for sure. The seller I bought them from offers them both flood and spot types. Ultimately I want a 52" light bar on the roof... I need more light:flame:

I finally got the rack on today. I really need to try and make some lower profile mounting brackets soon, I'm not diggin how high it sits on top of the cross-bars, but it's a decent looking rack though. It's going to look way better once i get closer to the roof!

Hey thanks man, I flipped the brackets over and it worked out great, it lowered the rack much closer down to the roof at least 1-2" inches i'm guessing. It's a nice simple trick that works. Good looking out! :yo:

I eventually still want to get some custom mounts made.

I have just enough space to tilt/open my sunroof!

did you use rustoleum lens tint to tint all your lights and stuff>?
is it pretty permanent? did you have to sand the lights before you sprayed the tint? if so what grit?

Those are just stock tail lights that I tinted, I plan on swapping out the reverse light bulbs, brake, and turn signals to LED's pretty soon... just to brighten things up a little more...

Thanks man, really wish I had more progress though. Yes I used Rustoluem Lens tint, I got it at Home Depot for around $12 bucks a can, which is all you would need. I've tinted my tails, front blinkers and corners and still have plenty left over to do some of my buddys rigs. And no need to sand them down, but i guess you could, I'd suggest a really fine grit if anything. I just used a little soap & water, then wiped them down with a lent free cloth. The tint is permanent, but will come off with paint thinner/stripper, I know this because I went too dark on one of my tail lights and had to remove it and start over. really easy to do and really changed the look dramatically.

No worries bro! It's all good! Welcome to T4R.ORG -I did 3 light coats of tint spray, sort of just misted it on. Just remember how many passes you do of each light, so you don't get one darker/lighter than the other. I like to spray at least 1-2 feet away so it doesn't get too blotchy. I don't mind answering questions about things I've personally done myself. Good Luck with your build, look forward to see what you come up with. Cheers and Safe travels!
