Center Console part

I have a a 2003 4 Runner, and because of a previous install I did with the combination of the removal of that install yesterday I want to change the following part.
As you know the center console comes apart in pieces, I need one of those pieces; it's the part that goes around the automatic gear shifter, that has the 3 holes for the DAC, Butt Warmer, and a 3rd unknown to me, plus it also holds the ashtray and lighter. Does anyone have a part number? I'm assuming part numbers vary on color, and even though I had this car for a year now, I still can't say for absolute certainity (wihout looking at it) if it's grey or a darker grey.

The color you are talking about is stone. Also go spend some time with your Toyota parts guy and get the part number, he'll have illustrations and all.

I went down there, and my dealership has the worst parking lot by far. They keep so many vehicles in-stock, you can't park anywhere. But the reason they do that is so you can buy and drive on the same day.

Anyway, the part is $228 and change. THAT'S RIDICULOUS!!! There is no electrical to it, there is no mechanical to it. What a rip off. So my attitude is to hell with it, unless you guys and gals know a cheaper way I can get it?

Get the part number and shop online. When I'm at the dealer and he quotes me some crazy price I say "I don't have that much right now but can you give me the part number so you don't have to look it up when I come back". Partznet.com has excellent pricing, try them.

Is there no source for the parts catalog other than the dealer?

I have a short subscription to service manuals online, but I don't see any access to part numbers.

Partznet.com seems like a great site. However, I do not have the part number and I have no desire to go there again and try to get it. This site clearly does not have visuals, so if you guys know what part I am talking about, do you know which one it is on this list?

The whole assembly is over 500 bucks.

I just want this one part of the entire assembly.

Partznet DOES have visuals. You can see the center console exploded diagram here. Sometimes you have to click around on the parts list (tree) to a part which has the associated diagram showing all the associated detail parts. I haven't figured out a way to get the part number from the diagram however.

For someone like myself who is pretty good with searching on the web, I can't get the pics on my own. I click on your link and it takes me to the visuals. What I am trying to figure out is how you got there.

They don't have 04 runner parts listed yet. Fortunately, many of the 03/04 parts are the same.

That's it, you're there. BTW, the VIEW ILLUS button only appears for some of the parts. It's usually (not always) the higher level assemblies, from what I can tell.
