I've also voted and am excited to go play in the woods!

On a different note....has anyone been on the "Big Levels" trails off of the blue ridge parkway?

Vote in.

In regards to Big Levels I hear that it is pretty tame in comparison to Flag Pole and VERY tight currently in its summer status. VA4WDA has a clean up day there on Oct 3 so it should be good to go hopefully soon. I plan on running whatever you guys choose (looks like FP) on Saturday and either hitting Peters Mill or Big Levels Sunday morning before returning home. I'll continue to update on that in case anyone is down to camp Sat night.

I'm down put it time off have not heard back that I couldn't get the time off. This will be my last trip for the year and the last trip before I build my 4runner

I'll put this out there. It is a close race with the dates. for those that chose each respective date 17th and 24th. you guys can go on the 17th if you cant do the 24th. Vice versa fir those who chose 24th.

I already voted when this post first appeared, and remain pretty much up for anything and anytime. By the way, another option that is good for stockers and also those modified are the vast network of trails in the GWNF around Dictum Ridge. I have been exploring these over the past few weeks and can drive for miles and miles without seeing the same thing twice. The trails go on and on, and on further, with plenty of play areas, mud, rocks and photo vistas along the way. Far too many miles for me to explore everything at this point but they keep pulling me back in for more.

wish i could have seen the view

Let me know if yall get a meet together in RVA, im in there like swimwear

DID YOU VOTE?

If we did like last time. The beach guys and richmond guys met on 64 right outside of richmond and drove to cville to meet up with a few of us cville guys. this time we may all meet up at the shell in harrisonburg from the 1st time we went to Flagpole

Looks like I am in for the trip! My work obligations got pushed back to November.

Should we start compiling a list(s) of people? Like you said with the dates being pretty even in the poll, the two date thing makes sense. I'm sure there are a lot of people who could do either date though which may complicate things.

Meeting at the final destination in Harrisonburg makes sense as well. Less stopping on the way there means an earlier start and more time on the trail.

I was going to "close" the poll tomorrow per say (forgot to set the close date) and make the list from there, but yeah I will comprise the list for the 24th since it looks like it will be the winner. Those that want to go on the 17th can tell me and I will make a list for them and I will do for us on the 24th

I need you to tag me in a post with which date you chose so I can compile a list of who will be going on each day (17th and 24th). I will then update that list in the 1st post of this thread. Those that want to go on the 17th need to then nail down all of the meet up times as I will not be going on the 17th I will go on the 24th

GHARP57 24th here. ITs funny I was thinking, are we really gonna run 20+ trucks down Flagpole trail? That passing situation last time was pretty brutal.

Well seeing how some people want the 17th and some want the 24th. I figured those who voted on the 17th can run it then since they chose that date and the rest of us can go on the 24th. A lot of people said that they couldn't do the 24th hence they chose the 17th.

I dont see how those cute trailhawks made it down that rockface easily without damaging the unibody, but i could be wrong.

I imagine that a lot of that group voting for the 17th may switch over though man. We will see.

Also, I'll note that we had limited comms last trip with 12 trucks, with only 3 cb's. If anyone has one - bring it, if you can borrow one - do that, or better yet snatch one cheap on Amazon. Its pretty rad to be able to chat it up a bit while on the trail.
