White really ought to be an option and a leather/heated seat option for the TE would have closed the deal for me.

Here is my 2011, pics are taken with the iPhone and resized so the quality isn't that great. But maybe it'll satisfy the curiosity. Overall, not much different from the 2010 brochure.

Looks like the leather wrapped steering wheel does not come on the Trail as some speculated it would.

A fully optioned TE is around $40k. I live in New England, so a $40k truck without heated seats is a non-starter for me.

The only changes I see is SOS is standard now on all models ,No 4cyl and the sliding tray is an option on the Limited's now.
Anybody see anything else different?

Dealer will put them in for you if you ask them nice!
Or you can buy better ones for ~$100 as the OEM ones are only on the seat and not your back. I put these in a old Camaro I had and loved them.Rostra Universal Seat Heater Systems - SummitRacing.com

If by "SOS" you mean the Safety Connect, it looks to be "LE only" from the brochure.

Yep ,your right.
I thought I read somewhere or saw a commercial where it was going to be standard.Guess not.
It's been 9 months now and the only time I used mine is hitting it by accident when I reached for the moonroof switch. It's all lit up and no lights for the moonroof switches. Probably take the SOS switch out and put another usefull switch there eventually.
I won't be paying for a new SOS subsription when the first free year is up.

btw .... good one on the White TE hoax
Had me goin for a while there.....lol

Honestly, I've gotten so many pinstripes from the trees and bushes up here this summer that I'm seriously contemplating repainting it white. I did that mostly to see what it might look like.

I have no idea how much it would cost though.

The 3m vinyl wraps are so good these days I was thinking about getting my hood wrapped in Matte black.Google flat black or Matte black wrap or vinyl.Or buying a piece and doing it myself. If I don't like it or if I sell it they come right off.Actually protects the paint!

I would like to wrap the top in urban camo when I get my Gobi roof rack some day to protect the paint up there since I won't be able to wax it easily.

I had thought about other options, including wraps. However, I was going to go old school ala Grand Wagoneer:

Too bad Toyota isn't doing white on the Trail... I think it'd be the best application for white.
They probably will in the future. Maybe make a White Trail Team edition with the 4.6L V8 6 speed and some TRD wheels and real offroad tires.

Pretty sure Toyota has some cards up their sleeves for mid gen refreshes. Then they can haul in the elusive big fish that are on the fence of buying because of the lack of a V8.

The mid gen fresh of the 2006 4runner and the addition of projector headlights/LED tails is what sold me and caught my eye,so I went and bought one.I think projector headlights would look great on the 5ths some day and can't wait to see the first person to do a TSX or S2000 retrofit.

I hope the mid-gen refreshed HIDs can be transfered to the 2010/2011 without much work.

Toyotas website now says the 2011 Limited gets HAC. Does mine have that and I just don't know about it?
