I've replaced the 4 screws that fasten the OEM/aftermarket stereo to the dash with 4 stainless steel button-head "security" screws. It's a hex-head screw, but there is a pin in the center of the hex. Without the special security hex bit (rare) the thief won't be able to remove your deck. It took forever to find a supplier, and when I did, I had to buy 100 screws. The button-head keeps thieves from using plyers to force them out. You can purchase the a kit of several types of security bits to screw/unscrew these on amazon.com for another $7
