Check Engine Light, VRSC Light on......

I have an issue with my 2004 4Runner Sport Edition with around 68,000 miles.

After the engine is turned on:

1)The check engine light comes on and stays on

2) The VRSC light comes on and stays on

3) The accelerator will not give the engine more gas. When you push on the gas pedal no fuel is injected into the engine.

4) The vehicle can drive, yet can only go at the idle speed. Such around 4-5 mph.

I also checked a few, not all, of the fuses and none were blown.

There is about a 1/4 tank of petrolium in the gas tank.

Any ideas?? I saw from past posts that the gas cap was the culprit. So I checked the cap and it is attached correctly, and tightened to two clicks.

You have an electronic throttle, no cable. The part at the pedal, the transducer at the throttle or the motor for the throttle has crapped out in all likelihood.
