"Check Sonar System” on 2016 Limited

Hello Guys,

One of my front sensor is bad . It says check sonar system and marks the passenger side sensor. Brand new one costs about $150. Can I buy a used one and paint it myself?

I am also intersted. So far I've found a no. I did find some cheaper sonar sensors on ebay, but after install I found that they have to be programmed/calibrated. Not sure if this is dealer only or can be done by someone else. Any help is appreciated.
