Does screen looks exactly the same as the 10-11? or is it a bigger screen?

"My 4R's" posts make me glad I snagged the last pre-tsunami Trail Edition in our area last spring instead of waiting for the 2012's.
Toyota probably had enough trouble just getting their own plants and supply network back up and running after the disaster, without having to design and manufacture innovations for the 2012's.

I didnt take any pics, nothing else stood out as being different. None of the ones on the lot had the retractable steps.

Well, I like that better than my stock SR5 unit. They could offer something like that for us SR5'ers, then something higher end in the LE to keep everyone happy.
That's what they're doing:
SR5s get this as an option I believe while in 80022 at least, the high end LTDs get the choice of this new unit or the existing JBL Navi system.
Yup, that is far better than the "upgraded" unit in my '10 SR5. I want the display audio in a bad way.

Yeah, if it is plug-and-play with the '10~'11 upgraded radio, I'd be tempted as well. Group buy?

We just ordered our 2012 T4R Limited! It's coming off the ship Monday. Oddly, it's $200 cheaper than the 2011. The EnTune was the selling point over the 2011 for us. Still no power liftgate (grrr). No multi CD either, which I would never use. I have my iPod Classic for that.

I think it's easier to install an after market and get all the features you want. But who knows... I changed out the Metra dash kit to a Scosche last night, but had to return it to 100% stock today since I'm trading it in tomorrow. I think I am a glutton for punishment, sometimes. I'll try out the nav that comes with it, and see what I like better over the next few months.
I'm a stickler for the vehicle looking OEM inside. The double din bezel and aftermarket head unit just bothers me. OCD FTL.

and a full interview with likes and dislikes!!!! As a side note, I'm wondering if I can upgrade my 2010 navi unit for the entune. I still haven't gotten a firm answer. I'm in for a grout buy!

One of my local dealers just got a 12' LE on the lot. I am waiting for the closer dealer to get one (SR5) with the upgraded HU so I can see if I like it or not, and if it would be work the $$$. I'm curious if I give them a ring if they can pull a part number and price of it, might be a project for tomorrow!
