I would soooo love to see more diesel catch on in the US! I wanted one so badly in a 4R that I had to have it swapped in myself!

It didn't make ANY financial sense whatsoever, but I don't have a single regret.

Sounds sweet, I personally love the GC. I must say that I believe that the new Chrysler products "post fiat purchase" are higher quality than most imported vehicles "not necessarily Toyota though". Obviously I cannot say anything about its long term quality, but it's innitial quality is outstanding.

I've really wanted a diesel since my wife got one (BMW X5) so was interested when I read that JGC was putting one into it's lineup. I went to a jeep forum to see if anyone had any info about it. Almost every other thread was about various problems guys are having with their brand new Cherokees. There is no way I would ever get a Jeep but it would be nice if it increases the popularity of diesel engines enough to make Toyota take notice. I love my 4R but it would be so much sweeter with a diesel.
