That looks like a fun weekend. I wish it would stop raining here. I enjoy the pictures. This is my favorite. "Adventure Ahead."

Swampers are for sale....

I'm looking into getting some 235/85R16 Cooper STT Pros. I can get a set of 4 for $750.

I would put my fender liners back in, put original windshield washer tank back in, put my mud flaps back on, and lower my front bump stops for more flex.

I then wouldn't need a spare tire carrier because they're the same size as my regular tires.

The biggest benefit is that I could drive comfortably to and from the trails. Driving these swampers for a year is enough for me...

Here's a pic of them on a taco!

Just wanted to show what I keep in the passenger side front of my storage box.

2 tackle box things with misc goodies, air filter, paper towels, tire plug kit, and a box with hose clamps, o-rings, and funnels. In-between the seat backs and the box is where my jack handle and machete go.

The back part of the box has my racing jack, duct tape, gorilla tape, jumper cables, air compressor hose, parts bag, and tool bag. I'll eventually take some pictures or a video of that.

My friends and I had another successful weekend at Pickett!

I snapped a good photo of my platform/ box/ table at work Friday morning

Erickson and I's rainy campsite for Friday night. We were going to go to my favorite spot in the woods, but Jeff has been running ripped CV boots for 8ish months and they decided to grind like crazy after the first mud hole, so we had to turn around and camp in the field.

We went out to the Pall Mall Overlook Saturday morning and picked up trash, trimmed branches, and drained a few water holes

I attempted night pictures for the first time. My 2007 Nikon D80 just doesn't have a very good chip compared to the new DSLRs

Bad news about the truck is that my front driver wheel bearing is on it's way out. Only has 13k miles. My guess is that all my water crossings and mud/water holes screwed it up. My new rule is that I'm not going wheeling unless it hasn't rained for 2 days before the trip in the summer and a week in the spring.

Well I got the knuckle torn apart today and found out that I installed the wheel bearing in backwards.... oops. I'm getting the press work done tomorrow (hopefully)

On the bright side, I got a hi lift jack for my birthday and I got to test it out yesterday

Glad for you the wheel bearing wasn't some bizarre wear problem. Backwards? Nope, it was Alternative Installation.

I never had time to post these. They're from the weekend of July 14th
