Dudes! The parts store had ONE timing chain kit on the shelf, so I lucked out! I went over last night to help my bud button everything back together, the front diff was a biatch to get back into place! Definitely a process.

so I have some good news.... i'm not supposed to know this but because i'm sly i've discovered that my bachelor party is being held this weekend in moab..... I can't promise i'll be able to wheel with you guys since there's probably going to be quite a few guys with me that won't have rigs and also i'm not sure what those yahoos have planned for me, but maybe we could at lease meet up with yall for a beer some night. i'll pm my # to Kidv and we'll see what we can do

Well Im ready. Kinda. Gotta get everything packed up in the morning and head out. But Im ready. I shortened my front driveshaft by 4" and it should work out great. No more cv joint. Yes Im going to install it when I get there. Its perfectly straight and I used a sawzall!

Alignment too.

I just heard back from the campground - apparently they overbooked, and we just got bumped.

Naw, I'm kidding, shit's on like Donkey Kong. Mike, Andrew, and I are hitting the road this afternoon and should be in Moab by six, see you all down there. My cell number is ate oh won ate nine won seven fore six seven in case anyone needs to reach me.

My mechanic surprised me by welding on the frame reinforcement plate and gussets, so I will have my front bumper on today! No winch yet, but that's ay-o-kay!
Super excited, wont be able to sleep thursday night.
Truck still has things to be done, trimming the front bumpstops so they dont touch the shocks, pitman arm seal kit so I'm not leaking ps fluid everywhere
Oh and the fun stuff like cleaning out the inside 'cause it's full of dog hair...

I'm still a very big maybe...leaning more towards yes than no. If I can make it we'll be rolling in Friday or Saturday. I have to replace my idler arm again and my inner tie rod ends before I can do any wheeling. That's what I get for buying "Japanese Quality Made in China" damn Nicaraguans...

Where exactly will you guys be? I don't have a phone to call anyone so the only way to get in touch will be through here or if someone has an iPhone I can text them when I'm on wifi...
