Ideally 3" to match the LC coils I already have sitting in my garage.

I have a front spacer lift that nets ~2" from Daystar. It's in good shape and has the stud extensions ready to go. I could grab it from home when I go to CO for spring break on Friday and get it too you at some point after next week if you're interested.

Also be prepared to do something about your CV-joint boots, which will likely start leaking grease shortly after lifting the front-end.

Looks like I am in!!! Ran it by the wifey and she's good. I'll be showing up in a virtually stock 1988 Sammy. I plan on putting a good set of AT's on it and beefing up the suspension. Someone bring a winch!

It's all about the driver! From my last experience in Moab, there is not much this little beast won't do. I'll get it out on a couple trails to be sure.

Hit the trail yesterday and popped a shock off its mount! Turns out the shock bolt was loose (it WAS a heck of a washboard road just to get to the trail) and pop out came the shock, luckily it wedged itself against the floor so I could get home without a problem. Wrecking yard had the bolt, washers and bushings - so yay!
But you can bet I put locktight on the threads this time.. LOL
Glad it happened here, and not in Moab!

I really appreciate the offer, and it has been quite awhile since I last visited Moab. The only problem is that is a racing weekend, and I'll be in Houston.

OK getting closer... just ordered a transfer case with more options for the Jeep to replace my AWD crap that's stuck in 4wd.

edit: and also getting ready to order a 3.5" lift. will be stuck on 235/70r16s

We have reservations for one of the group campsites at Moab Rim from 4/23 to 4/26. It's going to be roughly $36 each, assuming that there's at least ten of us (please don't send me money now, let's settle up on site). There's showers and laundry, grass for tents, a sheltered picnic table, bbq pits, and lots of parking, although if we have enough rigs a couple of us may have to stash our trucks in the overflow parking. There's power available too, for a fee.

If you are bringing a pet, there's an extra charge that'll be between you and the campground. If you're bringing an RV or camp trailer that requires dock and sewer hookups or is larger than a very small car, you'll need to make your own reservation for that.

Please see the camp details and rules at their website, Moab Utah Cabins and Campground, tent sites, RV spaces. I've given them my credit card for a first nights deposit, so lets iron out anything that might be trouble beforehand so there's no surprises please.
