So I wasn't planning on getting my rig lifted before Moab but it's kinda looking possible now....I need to get Jared money for struts and then just LBJ's.....and then I can switch out my brake lines in the campground parking lot...if I can score ball joints anybody wanna help me throw it all together?

Looks like I'm not gonna have my front bumper on in time for the trip, checked the timing chain guides today and soo glad I did - one of the guides is completely gone! And I'll need a new cover too - started wearing a groove in it. Ah well, sliders and rear bumper aint bad.
Plus side, my ol' girl the 67 gets to be driven for next few days!

We can do it!

I just dropped off the Sammy rims for new Hancook MT's!!! Meanwhile, the Sammy is on jack stands in the driveway with no brakes.

Still haven't installed the CB or stereo yet either. Waiting on parts for the soft top.

I still need to do a lot on mine (pinion angle, trim, bumpstop, front driveshaft conversion, sliders if possible). Kevin is close, should be running tomorrow night. We all have a lot.

Cut, measure then build. Same as a body on frame but needs an additional rail to bolt to the pinch weld.

I'm building the exhaust right now, and other than that, just the wiring. Mike had to bug out tonight, so we're hoping to have it running tomorrow night before I go to work.

Sliders and winch wiring want to be done, but I'll see about those after I take care of the necessaries.

It goes on the frame rails just like a body on frame truck. The pinch weld bolting makes it more secure though.

There's definitely room, you'd be welcome to join us. Nothing is set in stone, but the rough plan is Sevenmile Rim and Bartlett Overlook on Friday (good for mildly modified rigs) and Kane Creek and Cliffhanger on Saturday. I don't think we decided on anything for Sunday yet, but that's the day most of us are pulling out so it would be a morning run and probably not too aggro.

Without knowing what your skill and comfort level are, I'd recommend at least 33s and lots of armor for Kane Creek and Cliffhanger, but that'd be your call.

Well I'm as ready as I'm going to be. No armor, but I'm light with a short wheel base. Should be able to crawl most things with the right lines. Sammy is running great so I am excited. See you guys soon.
