Clean windows?

Just had it washed this morning. I never mind paying an extra 2 dollars to get it hand washed especially cuz they do such a good job.

And now i am going to use the newspaper and some auto glass cleaner to see how it works

HMMMMMMMMMMMM should i put a coat of wax on today???

I just washed mine this morning, in my driveway. But there is a Texico station close by that hand-drys. The line to get your vehicle done is always long because they have two girls that do the drying

I try to avoid going there because they can not have the job done. It is becoming wet and wetter.

I recommend STONERS INVISIBLE GLASS, Wal mart should have it, AutoZone, PepBoys etc. It is an aresol can and works awesome. I also have heard good reviews about Eagle One's 20/20.

Seriously, just to add to the confussion, I've read that anything amonia based should not be used in most cars. Therefore I picked up a little self-sealing packet of Windex brand paper towels with vinegar - seems to work real well, and is mild enough to use on interior plastic too. I just keep them in the 4R under the seat.

OH... kind of off topic but, if you're looking for a quick way to clean that dust off the dashboard, console, gauges, etc... use a swiffer cloth. It'll clean off all of the dirt, dust, hair without leaving a blinding shine to it.

I like that idea! BTW - even more off topic - how can you tell if a product has silicone in it (not recommeded by Toyota) as the labels don't always say?

Most products will advise if they are water based. Plus you can pretty much tell water based products such as Armor All. Products that are oily to the touch extremely shiny/greasy is a good chance they contain silicone.

Stupid question, I know, but what do you all use to clean the inside of your 4R windows? Seems like everything I try using streaks. You know, Windex, that sort of stuff. It all streaks. Drives me nuts. Thanks to all.

Use it dry and the microfiber gets off all the inside crud.
