Clicking sound while backing up

When I go in reverse I hear some type of clicking noise that goes away after a second. Is this normal, anyone else experience the same noise?

When I go in reverse I hear some type of clicking noise that goes away after a second. Is this normal, anyone else experience the same noise?

Yes it's normal it's the brake pads sliding in the caliper stands when you go forward and hit the brake. when you back up they kind of click or snap back into place if you will.

It can also happen if it was wet when you parked the last time. A slight amount surface rust can be on the rotors and contacts the pads as the rotate the first few turns. It's not biggie and the pads knock it of quickly.
