This one took me forever to get started. I tried contacting Excide, they expressed NO interest in this. I contacted Optima and they pretty much ignored my constant requests for a discount. I couldn't get a vendor to provide discounts on Odyssey.


Northstar, on the other hand replied and directed me to a distributor that's more than willing to work with me with this one.

If anyone is looking for a size 35 Northstar battery NIB.
I have one from a previous group buy that i never used still in the box.
I ended up buying a size 34 and not using the 35.
i will sell for $225 shipped.

This is how the last three GB have worked out:

Northstar is not interested in taking on a group buy order. So they had me reach out to one of their local, main distributors.

Payment window will be open for a week.

Once that week is over, the order will be submitted to Northstar for processing.

Northstar takes on average, about a week to get the batteries processed, palletized, and ready for shipment.

Northstar then calls the distributor and he goes to pick up the pallet.

The distributor then spends 1 - 2 days boxing them up and shipping them out :)

I see that most of you guys are ordering the 31m. Will that fit where the stock battery is or are you using it as a second battery?

I am replacing the stock battery with the 31M. [MENTION=130999]Inv4drZm[/MENTION] may be doing a dual battery setup.

31M is not an exact replacement of the stock battery. Simple mods of the tray, battery clamp & cable extension to accommodate the 31M are necessary. Certain outfitters offer aftermarket 31M battery tray/clamp replacements. Many people create their own mods.

There are plenty of good write ups on 31M dual battery setups on T4R. Few examples:
