This one took me forever to get started. I tried contacting Excide, they expressed NO interest in this. I contacted Optima and they pretty much ignored my constant requests for a discount. I couldn't get a vendor to provide discounts on Odyssey.


Northstar, on the other hand replied and directed me to a distributor that's more than willing to work with me with this one.

Honest question here. Are these batteries really worth almost 2.5x more than a battery you pickup in an auto store (napa, etc)? I bought a replacement battery recently for my 05 acura TL. It was about $120 out the door. If I read correctly, the 24F fits both the 3rd gen and my TL (for simple price comparisons).

The 4 year full warranty is absolutely appealing. I do not know what the warranty on my current TL battery is. So far that battery has been fine. It has not been very cold here in PA yet.

I purchased my 2015 new in April, 2015. Anyone make any projections on how long my OEM battery will last in Metro Phoenix? I don't currently have tons of power demand over stock, but I will add a winch and some modest lighting before year end.

This is horrible timing. Holiday season, some serious dental work not covered by insurance and now the stock battery is going. I have been wanting to upgrade, just not yet, but if I am going to have to buy a new battery, I might as well go broke. Sign my soon to be broke ass up.
