Question, What is the AmpHour difference between a Group 27F and 31? Would like to stick with the simplicity of the 27F, but since I'm powering a fridge off just the one battery I want to make sure it will handle powering it for a couple days and still have enough juice to start the truck.

I run a fridge (Indel B) on my 31 and it still drains it in 3 days. It was hot so it may have been kicking on and off a lot. I ended up getting a solar setup to avoid that happening again. If you do order the 31 make sure you get the terminals on the correct side. When I bought in this GB it wasn't stated that the part # is different for 4Runners and I had to make all kinds of changes to my stock wiring. So keep that in mind.

Dragging this up from the past... I bought this battery and it is having a problem with not charging. I took the truck to AZ and the charging system is fine, but the battery is low voltage. I have a second battery that is getting charged. Not sure what the warranty process looks like or where to take it locally? Phone call in at manufacturer, waiting to hear back. Austin Texas.

And just wait until they tell you to ship it back under warranty and you have to get second job to afford the shipping.

Nope. No need to ship it back. Contact Northstar and they will email you a form to fill out. They will ship you out a new one and there will be no need to ship the old one back.
