COB's 4Runner Timeline (Pic Heavy)

fixed it. :cowboy:

bahaha thank you bryan, shines a whole new light on things

Cool vid. Congrats on the win. :trophy::trophy::trophy:

Thank you sir!

Just want to say your runner is truly a sweet truck very clean in person. I am looking forward to having a part of your build. A side note I should have told the guy show me 30k and we can talk .

You're too kind! yours is pretty impressive! I ordered the sliders today for a total of $221.37. I look forward to you helping me, too. Yours looked great, I couldn't help but order as soon as I had the time.

lol, Donn would have done it just to see if you'd still do it. Thanks again for stopping by!

nice man..like the sound of it too

Thank you, I hope you mean that since I was really trying hard to get a good noise coming out the back.

Dude, I leave for 6 months and a lot of things have changed. Truck looks sick, congrats on the Castrol promo win thingy, and that video is kick ass at the end hahah. Two ߡg thumbs up from across the east coast :bigok:

how could you get rid of 311? well i guess alice in chains is good too.

Looking good. I'll take Alice over 311, but they're both cool. Let's get a side shot tomorrow to see the rake!

I used to really like 311. I could've listen for hours. Recently, I had a bad relationship where I was cheated on and emotionally ruined, and it just happens to be that 311 reminds me of the stupid whore. While I know that that's a dumb reason not to like them, I honestly just can't stand them anymore. I've been more into Alice in Chains and Ozzy lately, anyway.

Where'd you go? 6 months is a long time.

Thanks for your compliments!

On another note:

Last Friday, I went wheeling with brian2sun and driffter33 in Lake Arrowhead. Some great times with some great people. I will post pics at the bottom of this post.

Yesterday, I went to pick up a new 2002 Tacoma for my brother since his truck isn't worth a damn (piece of ****). I picked up the truck in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. On the way home, I stopped at Crossroads Foreign Auto (also known as 4Runner heaven). While I was there, I picked up new cargo panels and the mounts related for the cargo cover. I also stopped at Used Tire King and got myself a used BFG A/T for a spare tire.

I installed the new cargo panels and the cargo cover fit nicely. The only problem, the cargo cover I had from Bibi was gray.

Thanks again to Jay (driffter33), which cargo cover he doesn't use, we traded my gray one for his oak. He doesn't mind the color difference as he only used his once. He also made me a little wire for a mod that creates continuous power to the power outlets without the key. Really cool and easy mod.

I am going to ship some eBay stuff today, then get my tires balanced and the new spare mounted on my 17" GX470 rim.

I will post pictures of the above modifications later.

These take place in Lake Arrowhead, along with brian2sun and driffter33.

driffter33 took most these photos so thats why they're pretty much mostly behind my car

I got some videos that I will upload later, too.

sorry Brian didn't get to many pics of the leader from the back of the pack

I went to Crossroads again for some parts. I picked up both cargo panels and four cargo cover brackets. Also managed to trade a gray cargo cover to driffter33 for his oak one. I'm totally stoked, I've always wanted a cargo cover.

The truck now has a BFG A/T spare, too. There's a small easy mod to have constant power for your power outlets that has also been done.

The aforementioned pics:

yea i was looking on there also. didnt see anything about a bolt on though. not bad for 167 for both

You have to weld the legs on to the sliders, then the sliders to the metal plates/gussets. There are four holes on the plates that everything welds to so technically you could bolt them on if you drilled the holes in the frame after finishing the initial welds.

i have no idea how people can do that with out hydrolock please teach

how'd you get that rubber piece that lays on top of the rear bumper so shinny? What ever you did, can you give me some info. My eyes are sore from looking at my dull gray looking rubber piece. It catches my eyes everytime I'm in the rear of the 4runner.
