Driffter should have some good videos from him and his friend. There were some good rollovers. I accidentally drove my 4Runner up on part of the track and got yelled at haha, it just looked like a fun spot to wheel. 4Wheeler magazine's Land Cruiser FJ80 was there, he looked unimpressed lol

It went wheeling two times in the last week, and today I drove 60 miles round trip to the junkyard in it.
Aside from not having enough income to manage college life and keep consistently modding two trucks, I like this. I've wanted a good excuse to give the 3rd gen a break from DD'ing. I can drive it when I really want to, but for the most part, it just gets driven to the local canyon and back. I keep the spare tire, straps, and fold up chairs in the back.
I got over taking pictures when I go out, I'm not always doing much more than driving through streams and rock gardens (You know it's really rocky out here). No one really gives a damn unless you're doing something crazy anyway. The other day I came across two cabins that had recently burnt up... very sad sight. I love hitting the canyon dirt every time, plenty of fun in the 3rd gen. Don't get me wrong, not that I wouldn't want to be in the mountains, it's not often I get the chance to go.
I'm hoping to get some things done on it soon: All front suspension bushings, front wheel bearings, oil change, replace a fog bulb, PIAA 580 relay (again), replace driver's headlight, new clear corners (putting the old ones on Matts old truck), fix fuel gauge inaccuracy (again), and install new AVS window vent visors I got (putting the old ones on Matts old truck). New upper/lower links and adjustable panhard if I can manage it. Also I want to go back to OME 890's or possibly look into other rear springs.
I can't resist this thing :dammit:the open air feeling is like none other

Thank you! It's been a landslide victory for the first gen lately when it comes to which rig to drive, only to keep the 22R-TE break-in process moving. Now that both are manual, though, it can be a challenging choice.
Today, I chose to drive the 3rd gen.
- Oil Changed (225,000 miles): Mobil1 5W-30 + K&N HP-2004 Oil Filter
- PIAA 510 Fog bulbs burned out again (3rd bulb in less than 2 years), ditched 55W PIAA bulbs for 55W Hella bulbs.
- PIAA 580 relay was fine, turned out to be the spade connector to the highbeam wire. Connection was redone.
- Moisture accumulation in right front turn signal, cleaned out and bulb replaced.
- Intimidated a black SLR

My friend was driving his Trooper out in the local canyon when he lost control and crashed.
I was sitting shotgun. Called my girlfriend to come pick me up, then went back home to fetch my 3rd gen.
Thankfully, I was spared from major injury, a little shaken plus some bumps and bruises

Well I'm having a shitty day. Someone broke into my 3rd gen... busted my back left window at the Pick Your Part where I bought the 1st gen.
Thankfully I had an extra back window from the donor, I installed it as soon as I got home.
