Coil spring spacers

i put some 2.5" on mine and it made a world of difference. they are fairly easy to install. there are 3 types, plastic, aluminum and polyurethane
plastic: cheap, but have been known to break after a few years. cost 70-75 a per set
aluminum: expensive, but bullet proof, never sear down. i have heard rumor tho that they squeek after a while. 100 dollars a set
polyurethane: my favorite, they are strong, dont squeek, they are a hard rubber so they act like a second bump stop too. cost about 90 a set.
if you have any questions or need help installing them just post up i'll follow through, they are pretty simple tho. i would highly recommend renting a spring compressor from autozone (it's free) the can be installed without, but it's a PITA.

You mentioned inexpensive and good brands together. Keep in mind that those two don't usually mix. However for a quick fix, maybe a year or so, and you are not doing heavy off roading here is some inexpensive one. These run from 7 to 15 dollars. Some of these require the spring to be removed to install and some don’t. Also be sure you find out if they are for the front or rear as not every kind will work on both.

I have looked at some on yota tech. Daystars. The cheap ones from jegs and summit. I think so pro comp ones and sdori's
those cheap ones from autozone are no bueno, the bolt style i had initially. they lasted about a mile down a light trail before wobbling loose and falling out somewhere along the way. the rubber one thats a circle does work, i had a set of those one for months and they lasted all the pounding i threw at them.. the only reason i took them off was because i bought some real ones. but dont have too high of expectations for them. i jacked my truck all the way up to decompress the springs, and sprayed them with water and dish soap to make them slippery and slid them aaallllllll the way down with as much as i could annd i got .6 inches of lift from it.

Im actually looking for the same thing.. where would you get the polyurethane ones? local auto parts store? also with the 2.5" did you have to switch out the shocks?
