Hey guys,

I came across this product at one of the meets I attend and decided to make one for myself. Not sure who the original manufacturer is but made sure not to copy their idea exactly.

Its a cool grill that doubles as a fire pit and when you take it apart, it collapses flat. I am making these from 1/8" stainless steel so they will last a lifetime.

Let me know if you would be interested in something like this ...

Me too. Does it come with the bag? I was thinking of making something like this out of sheet metal too, but don't really have the tools to do it. Was going to use an angle grinder, which would leave some imprecise cuts.

Well the bag I purchased from eBay.

The price I have not figured out yet. I am still finalizing the design to figure out how much material is needed.

Wanting to see if I can get a big enough group then I might go ahead and make them.

Make sure it's as light as you can make it and offer it with a bag and I'd be interested.

How thick stainless are you using, did you notice any disforming after a hot fire?
Maybe throw some cross breaks in it to give it more strength.

Im currently working with a local shop on finalizing the design and material.

I am thinking to offer two versions.

A full stainless steel version

And

A carbon steel version

What do you guys think?
