Corner LED's

Has anyone experienced problems with replacement LED's for the corner of the headlight fixture? There was a thread around a year ago about replacing the stock orange bulbs with a star patterend 5 LED fixture. I successfully replaced the bulbs with the LED's, only to have both of them burn out within a month. If anyone has successfully replaced the orange bulbs with some type of LED, will you post a link to the ones you have used.

Yea thats where I got mine. They did not last long. Be ready to find another set!

any of the 194/168 bases should be able to fit. There's one that has a heat sink within the casing so that could be a possible try for the corner lights. As for my leds i know those don't go long as those are my 2nd set, my first white ones lasted me almost a year (lucky i suppose) so i switched them to the 5 led ambers now. Anyways here's the link to the 194/168 autoillumination listing.

Do you know exactly which ones work on our trucks?

I have these ones:

I made my own, and one finally went out last weekend. Last about 2 years, I used some cheap ebay LEDs. When I get some time going to make another one.

Another problem is, the heat from the headlights shorten the life the LEDs. So if you live in a climate that is hot to start with, then you'll have an even shorter life.
