So I've been waiting to do this for a while now and the time has come. Couple practical questions I couldn't find answers to on the other threads and rather than bringing them back from the dead I'd just start over.
First looking on Ebay the units are listed either 96-00 or 01-02. Is there really a difference? I know the housing will fit but maybe the harness is different? Or are they identical...
Second has anyone purchased recently? There are lots of sellers who have these now Sabersport, Optic Racing, Motorsport Outlet and more. They all list different "brands" of housings but the part numbers are all TY948-BURE2. I'm guessing they are all identical, most say made in Taiwan. Reading prior threads people went with Sabersport but if it's all the same unit and I can buy cheaper and free shipping why not?
