Courtesy and Decent Manners

Just one last comment here from me.

The Moderators on this forum are some of the best I've seen on any other forum. They'll pull the trigger and ban any obnoxious poster that goes too far.

Good for them. They (the Moderators) have a, for the most part, thankless job of keeping this forum as excellent as it is.
Well, I'm here to thank them right now!

Unfortunately, the lack of Courtesy and Decent Manners can be a real issue with many on-line forums.
That is why I am SO Glad that this forum seldom experiences that type of behavior.
It makes for a stress-free, on-line experience that I, for one, greatly appreciate.

lady some HID lights, lifters, or maybe a heavy duty skid plate. It'll just melt her heart.

I'm so glad my wife does not know about this website and what we really talk about...........she thinks I'm on here because I'm doing research on a new Rav4 for her......HA!!!!

Yes, but 1500 friendly and supportive posts are much better than even one or two rude and/or belligerent posts.

It's interesting to note that each person who has contributed to this thread has taken the time to use punctuation marks and spell everything correctly. I never learned to type, but along the way I have had some hard working teachers who taught spelling and English grammar and I have always tried to be a credit to them. I have had my 4runner for 1 year and have learned a great deal about it as well as Toyota in general from this forum. I built and raced Chevys and was a strong believer in American cars. But this 4runner continues to amaze me. For me it's a privilege to be able to tap this database and even contribute when I can!

Well at least I'm trying. Some of this stuff is not readable. While I'm at it it seems that some people post just to increase their number of posts. Also some people with problems asking for help already know the answer to the problem and are just playing a guessing game with those of us who would genuinely like to help. Again either trying to raise their number of posts or just bored to tears. This kind of makes me not want to bother at all. :wtf:
